SOG Sustainability Insight Check

ABOUT THE SOG SUSTAINABILITY INSIGHT CHECK

The SOG Sustainability Insight Check is an annual self-assessment survey for all SOG members, based on the EOG Sustainability Charter (ESC). The survey results provide a status update for the members and an indication of where SOG support is needed. It consists of 17 mandatory and 29 optional questions in three levels and is sent out to the registered sustainability contacts in late autumn. The results from SOG Sustainability Insight Check establish a baseline for the SOG sustainability work.

BENEFITS FOR MEMBERS

The survey portal includes a dashboard for quick overview of status, with traffic light indicators and graphic representation of progress. It stores each member company results to enable progress tracking year-on-year, both on individual level and for SOG as a group. Each member company can also compare themselves to industry averages to assess if they are ahead or behind. Member survey results are available for download and further analysis offline, for example by adding a risk assessment to create a priority list for sustainability actions.

ADDED VALUE – THE PEAK ASSISTANT

Every member with a login to the survey portal also has access to the Peak Assistant for EU regulations. Read more about the peak assistant here.

SURVEY DATA HANDLING

The primary purpose is to evaluate sustainability work and need for support among SOG members. No data on emissions or resource uses are collected. Any results communicated from the assessment will only mention SOG members as a group, not single companies. Text responses will always be anonymized before any sharing outside the SOG team.

FEEDBACK

We welcome feedback and suggestions of how to improve our member support. Your input is valuable for future SOG sustainability efforts.
