MOTIVATION FROM THE JURY

Every jury member loves the Sarek Long Down Hood from the young, small Scandinavian company Varg. Designed for women, this knee-long, cozy and lightweight down coat stands out as the ideal insulation piece during breaks while skiing and snowshoeing or at the basecamp as well as for less intense outdoor activities. The face fabric is made from recycled polyester and the down is certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES

Light-weight down tube. This unique garment with top quality fabrics will keep the whole body warm, is easy to wear, has a nice design and is functional and useful. The garment opens up with full length 2-way zippers on each side.

INTENDED SPECIFIC END USE

Outdoor low activity, or after high-intense activity to prevent cooling. Perfect for long days outdoors, for example when coaching kids in their sports/activities. Put it on before entering a frozen cold car, or after a winter sauna. Sarek Long Down Hood will keep your whole body warm.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

Down panels covering chest and body, wrap-around collar and hood to keep you warm. 2-way full length YKK zippers at each side. It is low weight, water resistant, recycled polyester, with very soft hand feel.
