The Swedish outdoor brand SILVA have launched an updated version of the most powerful headlamps in their range – the Exceed 3-series. The headlamps are developed for multi-athletes and are perfect for high-speed activities such as downhill skiing and biking.
“All Silva headlamps are designed to strike the right balance between size, light and battery weight. Our goal is to create headlamps that feels like an extension of yourself, well-balanced and with a comfortable fit. Our headlamps are the smallest and most lightweight on the market, they all have an anti-slip silicone string on the inside of the headband and a compact battery or a stability-enhancing plate fitted on the back of your head – just to name a few details that are integrated in our headlamps to make them more comfortable.”, says Mattias Jacobsson, Head of Product at SILVA.
The series consists of three headlamps, Exceed 3XT, Exceed 3X and Limitless Exceed 3. The headlamps have the same features, the only difference is that Exceed 3XT has a long-distance 9.9 Ah rechargeable battery, Exceed 3X comes with a lightweight 3.3 Ah rechargeable battery pack while Limitless Exceed 3 comes without a battery – so you are free to select the weight vs. burn time you prefer.
“If you are a downhill skier or downhill biker looking for a very powerful and flexible headlamp, our Exceed 3-series is ideal for you. The double light beam technology called Intelligent Light is optimal for faster activities when you need plenty of light, and our Flow Light-technology makes it possible to adjust the light image to the specific activity that you perform. Attachments for headband, helmet and bike is included, which means that you can use the same headlamp for many different activities. This is great both in terms of the environment and your economy since you will only need one headlamp to cover all your needs”, explains Katarina Tallhage, product manager for the Exceed 3-series.

Exceed 3X has a recommended retail price of 299,99 EUR.
Limitless Exceed 3 has a recommended retail price of 209,99 EUR.
