MOTIVATION FROM THE JURY

With the Badland Jacket Röjk Superwear presents a wind and water resistant shell made from chemical-free, super tightly woven and supple merino wool. »It is very impressive how well the fabric sheds moisture without the use of water repellent chemicals«, explains one Jury member. The Testers were also excited about how well the Badland Jacket regulated the body temperature while cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Reinforcements are made from organic European hemp. It is a great alternative to softshells made from petroleum-based fabrics.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

The unique main fabric is made from a 100% super-fine, chemical-free, woven merino wool. The very special, tight weave makes the fabric naturally water resistant, wind-proof, and durable, without the need for any chemical-based application durable. The reinforcement fabric is made from 100% organic European hemp for a fully sustainable garment with minimal impact on the environment.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION

Fabrics are made with 100% natural fibers,100% chemical-free, woven non mulesing merino wool main fabric and 100% organic European hemp reinforcement fabric. The jacket has no coating/finish/DWR treatment and are therefore fully compostable. No chemicals used whatsoever – the fabrics are 100% natural and compostable.
