Long before we even introduced the Rover Anorak to the market as our first-ever outerwear garment, we already knew what news we were going to be presenting for the Spring/Summer 2018 season. The Rover Anorak’s immediate success, however, told us we were definitely on the right track and therefore, it is with great pleasure that we now present the latest additions to our range of outerwear. The Rover Anorak’s immediate success, however, told us we were definitely on the right track and therefore, it is with great pleasure that we now present the latest additions to our range of outerwear.
The Badland Jacket and Pants are our greatest and most important developments to date, and were made to be our most durable and reliable heavy-duty outerwear for trekking, hiking or a life out of doors in general. With a main fabric made from 100% woven non-mulesing merino wool, and reinforcements made from 100% bio polymer from castor beans, they are a very important development in the arena for sustainable and eco-friendly outerwear. The fine and very tight weave of the merino wool main fabric gives it great durability and makes it water-repellent and wind-proof, while the bio polymer reinforcements are not only strong but very stretchy and soft as well. Needless to say, no finishes or treatments have been applied in either of these garments.
The Rover series is our take on modern backpacking and hiking wear, and has two new styles for SS18; the Rover Jacket and Rover Pants. Developed from the same fabric and with the same design DNA as the Rover Anorak, they are just as easy to wear as they are sustainable and eco-friendly. The fabric used in the Rover series is 100% bio polymer made from castor beans, meaning these garments are not only highly sustainable but also very durable.
