Some people are afraid that wool is not for kids due to some different reasons:
– wool is itchy and children don’t like to wear it. Wrong! there are so many, soft and beautiful wool qualites today. In order to make our junior styles even more comfortable we add a very soft merino wool cuff down at arm openings as well as inside the collar.
-wool is difficult to keep clean and difficult to wash. Wrong! wool contains a fatty substance that pushes dirt and stain away. Wool has also a natural way of cleaning itself, so the best way to “wash” it is to hang it out for airing and it will soon revive and feel clean and fresh again.

The family company of Ivanhoe was founded in 1946 in Gällstad, a district known as Sweden’s knitting centre, where tradition and pioneering spirits still live on. Several generations experience and competence enable Ivanhoe to continuously develop both base and functional garments. The material is usually different types of wool such as merino, lambswool and boiled wool, this can always be found in the collections. They also incorporate new blends, treatments, knitting and weaving techniques.
