Omni is a new collection of footwear from Lundhags, developed for the borderland between the urban environment and the mountains. All-round hiking shoes and boots for light hikes and everyday use.

For 2018, Lundhags launches a new and highly versatile range of shoes that bridges the gap between our shell boots and the Heritage collection. Perfect for your daily hikes, whether in the outdoors or in more urban environments. With a focus on instant comfort, function and quality, Omni is for all seasons, and corresponds perfectly with the idea of a year-round collection.

– With Omni, we wanted to find a segment that bridges the gap between city and mountains, says Lundhags footwear designer Niklas Karlsson. Unlike the shell boot, which is intended more specifically for terrain, Omni is developed for many uses. During the summer, many are looking for a lighter boot that can breathe, and be taken out into nature after a day of work. Thus, a shoe that is sophisticated, yet functional for outdoor usage is needed, without forgoing durability and comfort. Omni fulfils these criteria.

The models in the Omni range are supportive yet versatile. They are breathable and offer good weather protection, thus providing a good foot climate. The collection consists of low and medium-high shoes that focus on different seasons. From the clean summer shoe Strei, to the supple Bjerg Mid/Low for hiking summer, autumn and spring in slightly more demanding terrain, to the more insulated shoe Riim, developed for winter usage or late-autumn hikes.

– We asked ourselves the question: How do we make sure that Omni breathes Lundhags? The answer is the same as for our other products. To use the best materials, such as Vibram soles, Heinen Terracare leather and Italian Corradi leather. We have also gotten inspiration from the design idiom in our shell boots, to create a similar train of thought throughout the collection. Details such as the design of the tongue and the reinforcement film around the shoes are recognisable from our shell boots.

With our three segments. Shell boots, Omni and Heritage, Lundhags goal is to offer our customers a complete selection of footwear for all their Outdoor and everyday needs. From the mountains to the city, and everything in between. All our footwear is made and sourced in Europe to the highest manufacturing standards, using only the best components and materials. With world class craftsmanship as the main ingredient.

The product names Bjerg, Strei and Riim comes from the “Jamtish” dialect, a local language from Jämtland, where Lundhags is born.
