Trouser fit and fabric are important to consider, because they impact how much freedom of movement you have. For instance, some trousers are better for moving quickly. Others are better for walking through terrain at a more leisurely pace. You also need to think about what kind of climate and terrain you will use your trousers in. Perhaps you need increased ventilation for hot and humid conditions, in which lighter and stretchy fabrics are better.
