LPC Wax – new garment for more function

For fall 2015, Lundhags is expanding its LPC range with the new LPC Wax. The new fabric combines the unique features of Lundhags’ own material LPC (Lundhags PolyCotton) with the advantages of natural wax.

The LPC qualities are well known. The Cotton/Polyester material mix provides a cool, soft fabric with good wicking abilities. In addition, the blend makes for more durable garments, since the Polyester protects the Cotton against abrasion.

By developing LPC further with a natural wax, we now have an alternative LPC material with another look and another characteristic of the surface. The waxed surface gives a sturdy and robust look which is also water resistant and dirt repellent. The surface is peached which gives a soft and comfortable feel to the garment.

For the FW 2015 season, Lundhags will be using LPC Wax on two different parkas, Berje and Edhe, as well as the Viken pant. With its slightly matte finish and clean design, it works just as well for garments out in nature as it does in urban environments.
