KLÄTTERMUSEN AB
ATLE 2.0 JACKET
Design: ISABELLE MALM
Category: APPAREL
Primary innovation features
Outer material: the material is a thin, lightweight 10-denier fabric which is due to its double ripstop, resistant to abrasion and tearing.
Intended specific end use
Klättermusen’s vision with Atle 2.0, was to create an isolating jacket with extremely low weight, very light and compact. It has a tight fit and is perfect underneath your shell jacket, but it also suits well as your outer garment – as long as there is no heavy rain.
Specific features:
To obtain a better fit, and suit a number of different shoulder widths, the shoulder has a new design, known as raglan sleeve. Box construction without penetrating seams. Minimizes cold spots. Elastic and adjustable lower hem. Easy to adjust even with mittens on. Extended back. The elastic is now placed internally and a short way up the sleeve. The wrist is reinforced with water-repellent material. The internal elasticated is tighter around the wrist and brings the insulation point further down over the wrist. To avoid cold spots, the garment has also a three-dimensional cut.
