Kavat Launches New Dundret Ice at ISPO

In time for ISPO, Swedish shoe brand Kavat launches a special variation of its classic style Dundret – Dundret Ice. It’s key feature: the Christy Arctic Grip outsole by Vibram. By adding this twist, Kavat makes its cult winter-boot style even more suitable for ice and sub-zero temperatures.

Kavat Dundret Ice

Dundret is one Kavat’s most-loved winter models: A classic, warm-lined winter boot made in the brand’s special Eco Performance (EP) Leather. The EP leather is sourced and produced in Europe – it is chrome-free and tanned without using heavy metals. The leather has its natural grain and develops a beautiful patina over time. Kavat’s EP leather is very breathable and has water-repelling properties – making it the ideal material for winter shoes that are worn in snow. Vibram’s Christy Arctic Grip outsole consists of a secret mixture of polymers and various fibres, the result of years of research and innovative know-how.

Kavat’s concept is based on three pillars – quality, design and sustainability. A minimalistic, Scandinavian design language characterizes the brand’s collections. The clear aim is to design shoes that are true favourites for seasons to come. Kavat focuses on a slow fashion approach, quality instead of quantity, timeless, yet modern design that also works years from now. Decades of experience and craftsmanship are reflected in each and every model. Focus of the new autumn/ winter 2020/ 21 collections? Urban-outdoor styles that work in everyday city looks, but also outside, even with sub-zero temperatures.

Dundret Ice is launched at ISPO, where Kavat is also participating in the Scandinavian media event on Monday 27th January.
