Isbjörn of Sweden takes part of the big sports and outdoor ISPO trade fair held in Munich on 24-27 January. ISBJÖRN is there to show their fall and winter collection 2016 for the purchaser and can be found at booth A2 228. ISBJÖRN will be presenting the new ski jacket Off-piste and an exclusive collection of knitted hats as part of this new collection. New colors in the collection will be Royal (purple) and Mole (grey / brown mole). ISBJÖRN has in its collection over 90 percent bluesign-certified materials and are working towards the goal of 100 percent. All garments are free from flourcarbon and a large proportion of recycled material are used in the fleece as well as the lining.
– We are proud to exhibit at ISPO and to announce that over 90 percent of the ISBJÖRN collection is produced in bluesign-certified materials, always completely free from flourocarbons. In 2013, we became known as a “bluesign system partner,” and we are working hard to achieve the figure of 100 percent. Environmental work is part of our soul and our DNA. It is important to remember that what is good for the environment is also good for our children, says Maria Frykman Forsberg, president of ISBJÖRN.
NEWS – Off-piste Ski Jacket
One of the great innovations of the autumn and winter collection 2016 is the new ski jacket Off-piste. A 2-layer jacket with Primaloft padding. A technical ski jacket with attitude, comfort and fantastic performance for our young ski fanatics. With taped seams and waterproof zippers from YKK. The jacket is of a slightly longer model, with a detachable hood and great pockets for accessories – of course also a pocket for the liftpass. The jacket has snow lock and an adjustable hem. Off-Piste is provided with Recco reflectors used in avalanche search rescue. The Off-Piste ski jacket is provided with ISBJÖRN’s so-called “grow Cuffs” – a seam that can be removed allowing the jacket sleeves to grow approximately 3 cm in lenght. The jacket is available in two colourways Phantom and Firecracker. Waterresistance: 15.000 mm and breathability, 15,000 g / m2 / 24 h.
New Colors – Penguin Winter Jumpsuit
ISBJÖRN Penguin Winter Jumpsuit is a snowsuit which for the third consecutive year has won ’Best in Test’ in the category “Best Premium Overall”. Here it reached 10 points out of a possible 10. The suit has been used and tested daily at an outdoor kindergarden where the need for functional garments with water resistance, durability, and heat capacity is extremely important. Penguin Winter Jumpsuit comes to the autumn / winter 2016 with two new colorways, Royal (purple) and Mole (grey / brown). Penguin is a 2-layer snowsuit padded with Primaloft. A detachable hood, waterproof zippers from YKK. Even the snowsuit has the so-called “grow cuff” which means that the garment can expand in size. As any garment from ISBJÖRN’s collection, the Penguin Winter Jumpsuit is 100 percent flourcarbonefree. Waterresistant of 15,000 mm and breathability of 15,000 gr / m2 / 24 h
