Primary innovation features

The design team’s mission was to find a way to combine stability with softness in a running shoe. The HGMS2 midsole enables this combination. The U-shape has a more torsional rigidness than a flatter traditional constructed midsole. The HGMS2 provides the right amount of forefoot flexibility and softness, while protecting the foot when hitting rocks and other objects. No additional protective prieces are added, which saves a lot of weight.

Intended specific end use

Ambitious runners with a driven stride. On/off trail running, swimrun, orienteering, Obstacle Course Running (OCR).

Specific features:

• HGMS2-midsole (Holy Grail Midsole, Stable and Soft)
• RB9X outsole, a rubber compound with the scientifically (lab tested by SATRA) proven best unstudded traction available, on both dry and wet surfaces. This superb traction doesn’t come at the price of durability as it matches the DIN standard for normal asphalt running shoes.
• Outsole pattern. The deep lugs manage to provide traction even in very loose mud. The lugs are designed and placed in a way that mud doesn’t get stuck between them.
• Non-absorbing materials & construction when running on/off trails. Only non-absorbing materials are selected, and the heel cup padding consists of “closed cells”.
