PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES

This shoe has been designed and developed to provide comfort, stability and safety on all kinds of hikes. But it has also been made for one of the most important aspects of modern outdoors living – sustainability. The Skuta Mid Proof is made with eco friendly materials throughout, from the fluorocarbon-free DWR treatments used to protect it from water and dirt to the sustainably-sourced premium suede of its upper.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

Made in suede leather from a tannery audited by the Leather Working Group, fluorocarbon free and bluesign® approved. AHAR+ rubber on the outsole for performance and durability. The shoe is designed with a wide forefoot fit and as a mid boot for extra comfort, flexibility and walking support. High-performance PROOF™ ECO lining.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION

Haglöfs is the only Nordic outdoor brand member of Fair Wear Foundation. They are also a member of bluesign® and 78% of the collection for FW18 are bluesign® products. Haglöfs believe that with hard work and development, a real change for the better can be achieved when it comes to sustainability in the outdoors industry. Haglöfs has created a sustainability label of their own, called Take Care. The intention is that the majority of their product line will soon carry this label. In order to be given the Take Care label, a garment must be made from genuinely sustainable material.
