Kongsberg Insulated Jacket
A padded softshell – that upsets conventional notions of ski clothing. Padded hardshells or insulation jackets with more or less dense outer materials are common, a softshell with additional warm padding, however, is new. The advantage is obvious: the elastic and soft outer material is far more breathable than conventional materials with high fibre density. The development of the PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active fibre made it possible to use this soft outer material. This more robust and dimensionally stable padding is less prone to clumping and detached fibres, which is why it can be used in combination with much more open and porous outer materials. The result of the combination with a more permeable outer material is a very breathable jacket with a pleasant wearing comfort for active winter sports lovers, a jacket with high wicking capacity and the usual good heat insulation of PrimaLoft materials. Outer material, padding and lining with 4-way stretch guarantee freedom of movement and wearing comfort. What’s more, the Kongsberg Insulated Jacket has a large and adjustable hood, underarm zips and an integrated elastic cuff on the sleeve for the greatest possible climate comfort. Both the outer material of the jacket and its PrimaLoft® padding are bluesign® approved fabrics.
