Primary innovation features

The light-weight & soft Bladet Jacket uses a new insulating material called lavalan® consisting of Virgin Wool and corn fibers (PLA). This heat-boosting wool-blend has high wicking and temperature regulating properties, including if the garment gets wet. It’s breathable and functional in a natural way.

Intended specific end use

Insulating jacket developed for ski touring and mountaineering, can be worn solo or under a hardshell in harsh conditions.

Specific features:

Windproof and water-repellent outer fabric (100 % Polyamid/Nylon). Adjustable hood & high collar for enhanced heat insulation; hipbelt compatible pockets, one of them functioning as a compression bag; articulated elbows; elastic cuff; one-hand elastic drawstring at hem.

Sustainability information

The insulating material is proven free of harmful substances, OEKO-TEX® 100 certified and consists of 100 % renewable resources: virgin wool and corn fibers (PLA). Due to its low weight and volume the transport of the raw material within the supply chain causes much lower impact compared to other materials.
