Primary innovation features

Alfa Air, is a unique upper material, with good breathability, low weight and high durability. Better durability than light weight textile, and half the weight compared to leather – combined with very easy maintenance make this to an innovation.

Intended specific end use

The boot is a stable but light-weight medium-high trekking boot, for use on the trail in mountains and forest terrain, suitable for summer use. Waterproof.

Specific features:

Gore-Tex surround – which is a new Gore-Tex construction launched at outdoor 2014, that allows trekking shoes to breathe also under the foot. New low-profile Vibram outsole specially made together with Vibram. Make you feel close to the nature, and gives you perfect control. The rubber compound has a very good grip on both dry and wet surfaces. Mini gaiter prevents dirt and sand to get into the boots. Hang Up hooks, a small detail which makes it possible to hook the shoes together if you want to hang them at your backpack or when you store them. Alfa’s design approach to this project has been to be as Scandinavian as possible, with a clean design with focus on the technical features.
