Our mission is to empower people to be outdoors all year around. Therefore we also invite people to join us when we do things. Like our many Xperiences! The Icebug Xperience Concept is expanding. 2019, we offer the following:
GORE-TEX Winterrun: 5 and 10 K-races in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen, and Trondheim. Fast courses with some extra perks like DJ’s, fire artists and light shows. January and February. http://icebugx.com/winterrun
Frozen Lake Marathon: 21/42 K – on pure ice. The race follows a course which usually works as a testing track for vehicle manufacturers. Located at the Tisleia fjord in Norway. http://icebugx.com/frozenlake/
Icebug Backyard Trail: 8 / 16K hike or run, hosted at the backyard of our office. The course consists of our favorite trails, which we are running on our lunch breaks. Narrow trails chosen by the staff at Icebug. Twice a year; in May and October. http://icebugx.com/backyard-trail/
Icebug Xperience Mountain Trail: We’re taking our beloved 3-day Icebug Xperience concept and bringing it to the Norwegian mountains. Three days with a total of 55K hike or trail run. The event is located at Gaustablikk in Norway. 28–30 June. http://icebugx.com/xperience-mountain-trail/
Icebug Xperience West Coast Trail: The first and most famous Icebug Xperience event. Three days and 75K along the rocks in Bohuslän, Sweden. Most of the participants are staying at the same site, which creates a unique atmosphere. Approximately 800 participants come to West Coast Trail each year. Icebug Xperience Ultra: All the stages from West Coast Trail – in one run. We call this 50-miler the most beautiful ultra in the world. We had 100 runners at the first edition last year – and we’re hoping to double those numbers 2019. August 31. http://icebugx.com/xperience-ultra/
Forest Femmes: Our year-round running groups, hosted in 7 cities right now. Forest Femmes removes the obstacles by running together in groups, bringing companionship as a bonus.
