Primary innovation features

When we designed Olivin 2 our starting point was very clear: instead of aiming for the lowest weight possible and the cheapest price, our goal was to create the strongest, most spacious and ingenious tent in the small peak tent category.

Intended specific end use

2 person tent. A product ideal for mountain hikes or long canoeing trips, when you want to cut down on baggage size and weight but still have comfortable accommodation.

Specific Features

With the Olivin 2 you get more room to socialize than you do with a comparable tunnel tent.
Despite the relatively high ceiling, the tent still has excellent wind resistance — because of its symmetrical shape with a low centre of gravity. The shape also means there is no side that is more vulnerable than the others when the wind changes direction or blows harder. The ingenious In-Tent Vent™ system for regulating ventilation — without even having to get out of your sleeping bag. Olivin 2 also has generous snow flaps which can be lowered or buckled up after your choice which gives additional ways of adjusting the ventilation.
