Light My Fire creates “Little School of Plastics”
to begin a curious, open conversation about
the industry’s most criticized material!
Plastic is a smoking hot potato from a great number of perspectives. Nevertheless, significant confusion prevails among customers, shop employees and purchasing managers in the industry. Many people have a bad conscious and feel they ought to know more. Others are afraid to ask. For a long time, plastic was an incredible material of the future. Now it is one of the greatest destroyers of our environment. Or is it?
Now Swedish company LIGHT MY FIRE – which both produces plastic products in its own factory and believes in sustainability – wants to clarify the concepts and begin an open, guilt-free, knowledge-sprinkled, educational and positive conversation. That is why they are launching Little School of Plastics at lightmyfire.com. The material is intended to reduce confusion, improve knowledge and encourage discussion.
In order to contribute to knowledge gathering and transparency, they will also communicate the names of all their producers in conjunction with the relevant product and hope the rest of the industry will follow suit.
In conjunction with the launch of all this, they will also arrange an
exhibition at Outdoor in Friedrichshafen – Let’s talk material!
– including Little school of plastics.
