Surviving with one robust but lightweight dish means less carrying for your hiking trip. The cup also has a pleasant grip and smooth to the touch surface; and the beautiful organic pattern on each cup is unique. The head designer of the Kupilka series is Finnish industrial designer Heikki Koivurova.

The new cup will be launched at the OutDoor 2017 show in four different colours – original brown, conifer, cranberry and kelo black. Kupilka also offers a special edition cup with Suomi Finland 100 logo in honour of Finland’s centenary celebration this year.

Kupilka products are made from the company’s own biomaterial consisting of 50% wood-based fibres from the certified Finnish forests and 50% polypropylene. The product range includes cups, plates, bowls, cutlery sets, sporks and knives. All Kupilka products are dishwasher safe. At the end of their life span, the products can be recycled, incinerated for heat energy or returned to the manufacturer for re-use. Kupilka packaging is made from recycled cardboard which can be recycled or burned.
