Pura Vida News 2009.07.21 Jonte Grudelius surfing in Costa Rica, Life is sweet... Finally, the time has come to put away the snowboard and pick up surf boards. Replace the Power Houdi against Liquid Skin Tee with SPF 50. This time the trip went to the southern part of Costa Rica. In 5 weeks we stayed in a house with 30 meters to the beach and the jungle around the corner. 15 minutes walk to a fantastic break. 05.30, woke up by monkeys screaming, grab a mango for breakfast in the garden, pick up some morning coffee and watch the waves on the beach. Then they are only to choose the break that will work best under the current tidewater and the sizes of the waves, keep on surfing until your arms feel like noodles or my bold head is burnt by the sun… "Pura Vida" (literally "Pure Life") is used as a general motto in Costa Rica. Surf up / / Jonte Grundelius.

Johan Wigforss and Long Power Tights Friends' Adventure 2009.05.18 Johan Wigforss, Houdini Friend and elitesailor in Laser tells us about how he uses Houdini garments on his way towards the Olympic Games 2012. -I tryed my first Houdini garment in the 2004/2005 season, it was a pair of Long Power Tights. Since then I have, for 4 years, used my Long Power Tights 4-5 times a week under my dry suit, on my bike and when I go running. It is just now that they are beginning to give up. - I have never seen any garment that can withstand this extreme wear and tear for such a long time, talk about quality! Take care!
Spring and Summer collection 2010 News 2010.03.02 In according with Houdini standards every one of its product is developed to withstand the use and abuse of hardcore athletes on their off-road pursuits The Spring & Summer 2010 line is no exception. Considering conventions on the traditional outdoor scene Houdini characteristics can be deceiving. Styles that weigh close to nothing, feel silky soft to the touch and look like a million bucks simply don’t fit the profile. Check it out under products.
Down in the Graveyard! Friends' Adventure 2010.02.17 Written by: Anders Lewander Anders Lewander keeps on Sailing Read about his Latest adventure here! This felt like the first real race day, since yesterday's race was one of those days everyone just wanted to forget, three hours drfting around in the calm. "Has never happened before"said the whole park ... It was also the first real day of competition, with steadily increasing winds 12 to 20 knots and breaking waves in beautiful Sydney Harbor. We started strong and remained around the top 5 on the first long crosses up to Beashel Boy, really good speed and strong board work by Peter Warner and 'Eric' Mickos. In the crosshairs, we lost the rhythm of the wing, we were a little too focused on wind speed and lost valuable meters away before the wind to Shark Island. We decided to Gybing directly to port out to the middle of Sydbey Harbor with Rag and Appaliance. We lost big 20 seconds and fell to 12 seat at upprundningen at Clark Island. Very frustrating on board with this choice of the combination of both to be in the edge without checking on the boats akterom. We have less power, not depending on wind strength, but more a feeling of the boat, this requires improvements if we are to keep us top 10! The remaining two laps we pulled boats on crosses, and lost on away from the wind ... Before last nerrundningen and expectation both on experience in the now healthy 'Noreastern' and a yoke end result as we suggested in the last battles against the check mark. De'Longhi played in front of us on the layline and was about to roll over, so we fell to the bottom under their lee, and dropped the height of the mark, just after the turn into RedClaw exactly to windward, and we must push hard on the check mark in the low speed. Low speed in a skiff with over 30 meters in krysstället in tight waste accession is something we have ever had in the spinal cord as a 'no-no', but now not quite so inrubbad the cerebral cortex seems to us a bit abruptly, and plunged into the depths, in the same seconds I turn on and see Fisher & Paykel make similar FALL, everything the only thing I do not see the slate hanging in the air, two feet of bowsprit into the depths ... 2 minutes in the sea, and Peter may flaschbacks of what the word 'fun' duplicitous role. In Swedish 'f - n' 'f - n' 'f - n', the Aussi, 'Fun Fun Fun'. Peter Warner spitting salt water and exclaims Anders this is not 'fun' ... With straight backs, we get a fantastic unforgettable downwind around Shark Island and with a lump in my throat, but happy we end the day 24 of the targets. Check out the youtube clip!,
