 MOTIVATION FROM THE JURY

The jury thinks that you cannot be safe enough with your kids. The Reima Villku will support this task due to its reflective fabric almost the whole glove is made of. The large opening of the cuff makes it easier to put it on and off and the palm consists out of a grippy material.

PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES

This is a reflective mitten. The Vilkku mitten is a sought after improvement in kids safety during the dark Nordic autumn and winter season. There is less chance of kids losing their reflectors when their mittens are the reflectors.

INTENDED SPECIFIC END USE

Made for the kids winter outdoor play and commuting.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

A pair of waterproof and breathable winter mittens made from reflective material. CE certified and examined by the Finnish Institution for Occupational Health as a visibility accessory for non-professional use. The mittens offer 360 degrees reflectivity and increase safety in traffic during poor visibility conditions, when worn over the outerwear sleeve as instructed.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION

All functional Reima outerwear fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified in Class 2 or 1. There are no fluorocarbon containing DWR finishes in our apparel. Their products have good second-hand reselling value. They will pilot their first second-hand cooperation concept soon in Finland with emmy.fi, this is not public information yet.
