Outsiders sometimes laugh at the Scandinavian strive for consensus and cooperation. In S.O.G we use it as our competitive advantage. And the outcome is unique. The member companies of S.O.G are typically small to medium sized players on a crowded market. By joining efforts in offering sales and media oriented projects and outdoor training, retail staff, journalists and others that participate are provided with cost and time efficient venues for product training, supplier meetings, press conferences and outdoor education as well as the occasional party. And the benefit to each participating S.O.G member is increased sales and media coverage. But that is a secret, so don’t tell our competitors.
