Winter has a firm grip on Europe and the importance of dressing, correctly was never more apparent. Different types of activity demand different types of functional clothing and right now we are facing many challenges overcoming the cold. Haglöfs’ stable basis on the layer-on-layer principle let users adapt clothing based on their activities in order to achieve optimum warmth and ventilation without compromising quality and fit. Our success and progress was shared across every product area and geographical region. We have seen particularly strong progress in important markets like Germany, Austria (+50%), Italy and Switzerland, to name but a few. This shows that there is strong demand for Haglöfs products., New faces at Haglöfs in Germany are Frank Blome, Sales Manager, and Harry Martin, Key Account Manager, Footwear & Hardware. Starting January 1 we will also report Austria as a separate market, and in conjunction with this we have appointed Thomas Blau as the new Sales Manager for Austria. All three have long international experience from the sports and outdoor industry and their efforts will be important for the further development of Haglöfs in these important markets., SUSTAINABILITY IN FOCUS, Haglöfs’ vision includes our being a leading outdoor company also in respect of sustainability issues. An important step in these efforts is the fact that Haglöfs, as one of very few companies in the industry, has a dedicated role in the management entirely focusing on these issues at the strategic level., ”Sustainability aspects form an entirely natural part of our product development efforts, and the proportion of products based on recycled materials is increasing all the time. This is an area we will invest heavily in, in the future,” says Mats Hedblom., HAGLÖFS SUCCESSES NO COINCIDENCE, Haglöfs is growing and continues to win market shares. We have consciously developed our products for an active target group that invests its time and money in various forms of outdoor activity.
